This is a must see location if you are within 100 miles. Strasbourg the old city is just incredible for old buildings and interesting sites. The Cathedral is very impressive from the outside and the inside is just Great. The altar and the backdrop are very well done. The stained glass is amazing as well. I walked to the top of the Cathedral and highly recommend doing this if you can. Great views and interesting views of the Cathedral as you climb.

Very impressive building! Inside pretty dark and some part is still in renovation. The clock on the right side worth to see. I enjoyed visiting it. The most spectacular was illumination show, special lights and music at night. Wow!

Absolutely beautiful! There is an amazing clock in the back right corner that does a little something every 15 minutes. It’s not amazing but it’s cute and fun to see if you’re around. The gift shop was great and some good finds for good prices. The nativity scene inside was absolutely gorgeous!

Came over from offenburg Germany. It was a short drive. It was on a French holiday so I think it was extra busy. The cathedral was very pretty. You could walk around on your own. There was no English translations quite. If you get an app on your phone you can just shine it on the signs and it'll read it in English for you. It was a recording picking on every now and then to ask us to shush. Although I don't think we were being loud, the crowd was in the church at that time.

I was surprised to discover that this is also a beautiful cathedral. It is not that far from the one in Paris. The line to get in (on the left of the front side) is for free but can get very long. The line for going up to the tower (on the right side) has a cost. Definitely recommended!

This cathedral is absolutely the most beautiful thing I’ve seen since moving overseas! I mean how is that place even real? It’s larger than life and unbelievable beautiful! It’s huge and stands out at just about every corner in the central area of Strasbourg. It turns you into a little kid because as you get closer, your jaw literally drops and you have no words!

Very impressive cathedral. It is breathtaking to look up and realize how small we are. It is a very historical cathedral and 142 m high. It is for free to go up the stairs. The view has to be amazing. Unfortunately the queue on weekends especially sundays is too long. But the city has a very nice atmosphere. I liked and enjoyed it a lot.

The cathedral is breathtaking from every angle, with stained glass, spires, and intricate designs living every inch of the building. You won’t find yourself bored when visiting here. I waited for maybe a minute to get inside and did not have to pay. Niece inside you are free to walk around within the designated areas. If you are feeling in the mood, you can buy and light a candle in the cathedral. There is also two gift shops!

A wonderful cathedral, truly a work of art in every way. Entrance is free into the church, but a ticket of 8.5 euro to take the stairs up - which you must do, the views are spectacular {approx 300 steps up and 300 down, on a spiral staircase}. The clock at the back is a marvel to behold, from the 16th century. The church area is peaceful, take some time to sit and reflect no matter your religion.

Lovely Cathedral and a must-visit when in Strasbourg. The cathedral is not open all the time for visitors, so one must check the timings before planning a visit. Also, there are a dress code (they don't allow dressed with exposed shoulders). The cathedral is lovely both from the outside and the inside. The astronomical clock is one of the highlights. Once can also climb the terrace for lovely views. The cathedral square is quite lively and totally worth visiting.

A very impressive building. Size and age. Recommended to visit, there is no time limit for staying inside, but you can see a queue to enter even on working days. There is a souvenir shop inside the side exit. No free parking near by.

This cathedral is just breathtaking. So large and beautiful at the same time. As beautiful outside as inside! A must visit if in Strasbourg.Especially the last sculpture of Mary, mother of Jesus, carrying her dead son’s body was really a strong experience.

A majestic building to visit if you're in Strasbourg. Its in the middle of the city and there's restaurants, souvenir shops, and other shops surrounding it. The tourism office and Batorama office are also right next to it. There's a light show at night but I'm not sure when exactly it starts and how long it lasts. You can climb up the stairs to the top but be warned that you should climb on an empty bladder/bowel as there is no toilet at the top. There is no stopping (as in a place to sit and catch your breath) on the stairs, you just have to go all the way up/or down. Its spiral almost all the way so you do get a little dizzy, take breaks in between by standing against the walls so others can walk past as its quite narrow. The entrance to the cathedral is free but to climb the stairs, its 8€ per person. They accept card and cash payment. They close at 8pm.

Its a lovely place in a lovely town. I found a Pirate Jelly shop nearby. Infront of cathedral there is this unique gift shop. We visited this town in Christmas times and it was amazing too.

From July 18 - 19, 2024, my wife and I spent some time here three times. Initially, we visited it in the afternoon. And later, we visited it when it was all lit up at night. And the next day, we paid and climbed over 300 steps in a spiral staircase to a platform and observed its upper structure and the whole of Strasbourg.

Nice cathedral in Strousburg. It doesn't compare to the cathedral in Cologne but with each town or city is the main cathedral. If you have a half an hour is worthwhile visiting. Take some pictures. You are allowed to take pictures inside the cathedral. No big crowds like the cathedral in Cologne.
